Fifteen shooters from the OAFTSA club made their way down to New Philadelphia Ohio to participate in the 2017 Pyramyd Air Cup. Nearly all of the divisions and classes were represented from Open, Hunter and WFTF PCP to Hunter and WFTF Piston. Everyone seemed to enjoy themselves even though the course was demanding with some real unforgiving winds, especially on day one. The weekend event included a Payday Challenge, a Gunslynger speed shoot, and of course a two day field target match.
In the end, Bill Rabbitt bested last years champion, Greg Sauve, in PCP Gunslynger to take top honors and a nice $1000 cash prize.
Dan Putz took third place in PCP Gunslynger and received a $250 cash prize.
In the field target match, brothers Tom and Dennis Himes battled it out in Hunter PCP with Tom taking third place while Dennis took second place.
